They may allow a website to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, selections or technical information required for the website to operate correctly.

Similar technologies may also be used for the same or comparable purposes. These can include local storage, pixels, tags or other browser and device storage technologies.

Third-party services

Some features of valcris.ie may rely on third-party technology providers. Depending on how a service is implemented, those providers may process technical information or use their own technologies.

TomTom Route Calculator

Valcris Transfers uses TomTom technology to provide route and travel-time calculations. Route requests from our website are handled through the Valcris website backend rather than exposing the TomTom API key directly to visitors.

Location information entered into the Route Calculator is used to calculate the requested journey. More information about this processing is available in our Privacy Policy .

External links

When you choose to open an external website or application, that service operates under its own privacy and cookie policies.

Managing cookies through your browser

Most web browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their privacy or security settings.

You can normally configure your browser to reject cookies, remove stored cookies or notify you when a website attempts to store them.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies or browser storage may cause some website features to stop working correctly.

How long cookies remain on your device

The duration of a cookie depends on its purpose and configuration.

Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies may remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
Consent preference storage may remain long enough to remember your privacy choices so that you are not repeatedly asked to make the same selection.

Cookies and personal information

Some cookies and similar technologies may involve the processing of information that qualifies as personal data, such as online identifiers or device-related information.

Where personal information is processed, our handling of that information is also subject to our Privacy Policy .

Changes to this Cookie Policy
